LM Studio may be used for rapid evaluation, development and controlled local deployments. vLLM can provide a production-oriented serving layer for workloads that require greater concurrency, throughput and operational integration. Other backends can be introduced when they provide a better fit for a particular model, modality or hardware configuration.
Solutions can range from a single NVIDIA workstation or DGX system to larger multi-GPU and server-based environments.
